Located on the Cumberland Plateau of middle Tennessee, BUNCH-A-SHORT STUFF FARMS as the name implies, specializes in the smaller of the equine world. While we have both miniature donkeys and miniature horses, our interest seems to favor the donkeys. Our farm is small, only 16 acres, so we can only keep a limited number of foundation stock. Because of this we try to keep only the best quality of animals that are consistent with our breeding program.

THE MINIATURE MEDITERANIAN DONKEY
came from a history of hard labor to become an animal, greatly desired in this country and around the world. They are shown today in many classes of competition. However their finest quality, their endearing and trusting personality is rarely seen in the show ring. When handled with a gentle hand, they become the most affectionate of pets. There are few in the animal world that that can touch the heart as strongly as THE MINIATURE MEDITERANIAN DONKEY.

Color is not every thing, but is important. While there are many variations, called black, our breeding program is in the direction of TRUE BLACK, no cross, no light points. We feel, confirmation is the most desired trait, mixed with the all-important personality, they are so famous for. To achieve what we seek may take many years yet, but as in any worth while endeavor you have to start some where, so here we are.
